Penultimate home game this season tonight.

Imo, UNCW is the best team in the conference with the best 1-2 punch between Trazarien White and Shykeim Phillips. Still bummed to this day that UNCW beat us out on Phillips, though there's no guarantee he would have stuck around I guess.

UNCW is one of the best teams in the country at taking care of the ball and we haven't been great this season at forcing turnovers. Probably need the Seahawks to have a cold shooting night to make up the difference. My hope for tonight is to catch them reeling from an awful home loss to Elon last Saturday and couple that with some home cooking to keep us in the game.

This is not a good match up for us. We are going to get into foul trouble. They have a rim protector and we don't see a lot of that.

13th place teams (out of 14) playing 1st place teams do not get home cooking...especially in late February or March. I expect no calls to go our way except the most obvious ones that the refs HAVE to call.

We do have trouble with close shots.

Tribe shooting 50% in the 1st Half, UNCW shooting 53% from the floor.

This partnership with the Pauley Center seems very cool at least!

Just my point. If they could put two halves of good defense with two good halves of offense, there is a good chance of success on any night. However, one good half on D does not guarantee a second good half (on just about ANY night) and the same with offensive performance (shooting). When we pulled up close last night, we then proceeded to miss 4 of our last 5 shots (two gimme "bunnies", snowbirds, whatever). Frustrating.

Agree that from a macro view we have been the poster boys for consistency. 7 straight losses. Losers of 11 out of 12.

Tribe is on a collision course with Hampton to decide last place in the CAA, and finish as one of the 20 worst D1 teams.

How this is viewed as acceptable is beyond me.
