By limiting the availability new sports only slim bundle to an affiliated entity, they have crossed the line. Fubo is quite right to demand to have these channels made available on an equivalent basis.

Give those lawyers a raise, hot damn. Honestly, have barely heard of FUBO before this story.

They originally wanted to be a sports streamer. They expanded to become another YouTube TV like provider

See that seems odd to me. They're one of only 2 live streaming services that have offered most RSNs for several years now.

As a sports fan, even if I were still on cable and had always been on cable, I'd still want to know all available options and pricing.

It is true, that if I could get a sports only package, I probably would. There isn't much value in the rest of TV. Peacock is cheap for me via comcast ($3/month) giving me EPL, TdF and some other things I care about, like B1G games.

A news feed would be nice, but the quality of news is awful, with everyone cutting staff and narrated stories with just a small number of companies and directors. I can pretty much live off the feeds I've setup on various web sites, dig into what I want.

Maybe I keep an entertainment (Netflix, Amazon), but it's lower priority for me.

Always looking for ways to lower my month bills.

And note that the only unbundling they have to allow to sidestep the anti-competitive practice claim is to say you have to either offer ESPN with Disney or in the JV bundle, you have to either offer Fox/FS1/FS2 with FoxNews and etc. or in the JV bundle.

So having the JV allows them to "partly" unbundle without fully unbundling and offering full a la carte choice of channels to carry to the cable & equivalent subscription TV services.

I've seen a few things on Fubo, sometimes stuff from Fubo shows up in my fire stick menu options as something I might be interested in. I think it's free though.

Looking at their plans, they do not have any free plans, but they DO have a free trial.
