So Chicago St ends their season tomorrow. 1st school to pack up the balls for the season.

Wonder if this will be the final independent season ever. They move to the NEC next year.

I can't stand welfare programs. Any conference who accepts this degenerate street rat program deserves what it gets.

Their arena is very nice. Its not like they play in some crappy little gym. Actually their arena is easily the best gym in the NEC.

I would be thrilled if they ever made a Final Four. Heck, I'd be thrilled if they even went to the Sweet 16 or even won a non-play in game.

They beat Northwestern this year.

The NEC is pretty bad this year. LeMoyne who traditionally is a solid D2 team is doing well in the NEC this first year with winning conference records in both basketball teams.

Not much difference between upper D2 and bottom D1

Chicago had a better NET than all but 1 returning NEC member. No one on CSU’s roster is graduating either. The Cougars have a good chance of dancing next year.

I hope it happens. There’d be a whole bunch of butt hurt haters lol.
