Charlotte should easily win with their normal emotional level. I expect very light actual attendance due to the Tiger’s nosedive, disinterest by Tiger fans toward the opponent, and the opponent bringing few of their own fans to Memphis.

clt is interested in visiting the memphis bass pro, and may go to a game in the future

Well, I hope you are right, but I am not expecting an easy game at all. In our CUSA 1.0 days Charlotte was 6-7 against Memphis (plus you beat us once back in 1985 as we briefly overlapped in the Metro). The Memphis roster is much deeper than Charlotte's and more highly ranked.

I suspect the Memphis players will pull together and try to make a run at saving the season if for no other reason than to present themselves in the best light as they enter into the As Often as You Like, For any Reason You Like Transfer Portal, AKA The Ruination of College Basketball.

That’s a great stat! Very interesting. Probably at least Ipso if not fully Facto.


I guess if you continue to game this out it shows both programs can work the portal with a degree of success. But then it comes down not to the actual “ratings” of the players but more the ability of the coaching staff to make it work on the floor.
