It's the 1st day of Spring Football. GSU breaks in QB Zach Gibson from Georgia Tech. An interesting twist, Georgia State's first opponent of the 2024 season will be against his old team, the across town foe Georgia Tech.

Props to Stan Awtrey, an actual in-depth AJC coverage on the spring camp not involving UGA/Tech, and not a single paragraph coverage lumped in together with rest of the in-state D1 or high school sports. An interesting tidbit, GSU is experimenting with early spring practice dates to squeeze in extra S&C regimen. The goal is to get bigger and stronger without interruptions from spring break.
