Granted the wind was howling out, but I am not sure if that means we will have a Nintendo offense again (averaged 9.2runs/gm last year) or all of our games will be beer league softball scores.

Were most of the HRs just routine fly balls that the wind took or were they balls that were just hammered. I would guess some of both. Either way, lots of runs will be scored in that ballpark this season.

From what I gathered it was a bit of both. It's impossible to really gauge that unit at this point, especially when they are pitching to what truly appears to be one of the more lethal lineups in the nation. You match a strong veteran lineup with a hitters park and you are going to get some rough outings from pitching. Solid pitching units witnessed that at Spring Brooks this past season. That stadium will be rough on just about any pitching staff against a strong lineup.

I'm hoping y'all get used to popups being HRs so that when you come to Pete Taylor Park we get a lot of easy outs :)

I'd imagine the hitting approach changes and we'll just bat around 05-stirthepot

That's why I want "y'all (to) get used to popups being HRs". I want it ingrained! Also, if you can "bat around" our pitching, that'll be impressive in any park!

I mean...batting around is basically what Coastal did to USM this past season. Through the first two games, Coastal had 30 hits, 35 runs scored, off of only 5 HRs. That would be getting knocked in any ballpark.
