How does UDM go 0-24 (and counting)?!

That's atrocious.

Not like Mike Davis is an inexperienced HC.

(We did use to play Titans regularly including their XMas "Motor City Classic" BITD).

They have like 11 transfers too. Shows that transfers don't always work.

I don't follow College Basketball that closely outside of WMU and Big Ten, but I can't think of another D-I team that has gone winless for an entire season.

I think I heard Grambling was the last D1 team to not win a game over the course of the season. I think they may have a decent shot coming up against a poor IUPUI team. Hoping they get one somewhere along the way. That program and venue (Calihan Hall) have a lot of solid history.

UD Team has been focused on Antoine Davis scoring the last few years.

Appears no development of others to replace coach’s kid.

Yes, I did know about him (from reading FREEP).

But still - 0-24?!

I mentioned this somewhere else, but CMU and Detroit both went hard with the transfer portal.

Worked for one. The other, not so much.

Never know what you're gonna get. But yeah, UDM's case is pretty extreme.

With a large number of portal transfers, it takes time for chemistry to develop. Depending on coaching, it can occur faster with some programs like CMU.

But going winless? Wow.

Should note that Detroit didn’t play any non-Division I opponents this season. No Aquinas or Spring Arbor freebies. Not that it would’ve made any difference of course. But crazy as it sounds 2-22 won’t get you the national attention that 0-24 gets you.

UDM, formerly 0-26, blew out you-pooey at home. And Detroit was favored too.

As a side note, IUPUI’s roster includes former Bronco Daylan Hamilton who played as a freshmen for the Broncos during the 20-21 season. Hamilton has only played 5 games this season…not sure if he is/was injured or not.
