12 turnovers in the first half! Unreal! Recipe for another blowout loss!

It's hard to believe that there were days our family would attend almost every home game to watch David Kool, Ben Reed, and many others that knew how to play basketball. Today its just stand outside and throw it around the outside until there are 3 seconds left on the shot clock and throw up a prayer.

Sad, very sad. A total waste of time and money now.

Pathetic effort this afternoon.

Maybe we aren’t turning a corner this season after all. That 4-0 start is looking more and more like a fluke.

WANTED REASONABLY CONSISTENT : Scorers, free throw shooters, rebounders and 3 point makers. Hard working defense specialists a plus. Apply at WMU Basketball, Kalamazoo, Mi.

Pretty sure today’s effort from the free throw line (8-17) won’t move us out of our current national spot in terms of free throw shooting percentage. Currently sitting at 350th out of 351 D1 teams. Ahead of only Army. Absolutely nuts. I’m sure they’re working like crazy on free throw shooting…just a terrible free throw shooting team. Painful to watch as a fan. Those front end “1 and 1” misses will take their toll.

And…306th in Turnovers per game (13.7). One spot behind 0-24 Detroit Mercy. Really nothing more to say. Very, very disappointing past couple of weeks (and I know injuries have played a part in the results).

JB (nickname suggestion: The CN Tower. Please help me get this off the ground) is not a great scorer. IMAGINE if he was. And if he was, that he still wanted to play for WMU and take us there. Wow. Wow.

Anyway, I do feel like we run closer to an actual offense when he is in. Drive and back door. Inside-out to beautiful Hannah threes.

But man, this is super rough.

This team is decimated by injuries. I can't even criticize the coaching staff. This is frustrating to watch.

Seems to be a trend last two seasons. Even with a full squad my guess they would struggle to finish .500.

I can agree with that. Nobody expected them to even get to .500 so given the absence of much of the squad to injuries and illness, the uphill climb just gets steeper.

Good thing Kent State isn't their normal self, although getting a win there would still be an upset. Just do their best to stay in the game and I won't be upset, unless I see no or little effort.
