I think with an extra week, Jordan and Naquin will fit better now in the system. We are going to find out though, Sunday!

Two schools of thought coming off a 2-game skid.
Better to have the week off to work on things.
Better to get back on the court ASAP.
In our situation, losing a player and getting 2 "new" ones in the past couple of weeks, I like having the week off to work on things.
Plus it gives Walton more time to heal - and he is critical now.

I know Tomlin has been asked repeatedly in post-game interviews about the time it will take to get comfortable with the plays.

I would think Brown already knows the plays. May be rusty.

This actually might have been a good week for them to work together... help each other out.

But even knowing the plays, does that mean they'll get fed the ball? Are we there yet where we consistently look for the assist?

I get defensive plays are different. That's something EVERYBODY should be working on -- diligently.

I think the D is what they have to work on the most. And it's probably the original issue with Brown. The O will come with this bunch - especially if we get back to turning the other team over and transition. Remember, we're not too far removed from back-to-back 100 point games.

Your 4th point is "key". They simply have to share the ball and quit the hero ball stuff to be successful the rest of the season. I know they want to get to the next level but are more likely to achieve that if they have a successful season. The surest way to get individual attention is to get collective attention. The reason Keith Lee, Larry Finch and CDR received All American honors was because they all played in a National Championship game, dominating the competition along the way.

I wonder if he has gotten better this week? I wonder if he will be able to play in this game?

I think Penny knows what he is doing with Brown now. Fitting Naquin in more as well this week, I see something different this week on offense. I think Brown plays Sunday.

Keith Lee played in 3 straight sweet 16s and a final four his senior year, but I understand your point.

And he averaged 20 and 10 for his career.

We need the time off, this week could not have had better timing...
