I do hope FAU can come back and win so we can point out again that the game Wednesday will be the first time Rice will host a top 25 team at home since 2009 I believe?

They have managed to win a few tight games lately, but they aren’t playing as well as they did last year when they were a Final Four team.

FAU prevailed in OT 112-103. Not much defense in this one.

FAU’s foul shooting was awful (until they got the benefit of a gift foul on a missed 3 point attempt down 3 with :17 to go, and made all 3 shots to get into OT.

Rice can definitely beat the other Owls.

Worth noting that Rice’s horrendous loss @Tulane looks slightly less horrendous after Tulane was in their game against FAU until the last possession and then just beat Memphis.
