He was awful as an underclassman but got way better by the time he left.

He struggled big time in his first year. He was much better in his second year as a senior. He was better that Lindsey by a long shot as senior.

He was bad his first year. After that he looked pretty good.

Maybe he simply forgot how good his senior year was. They moved him around a bit to better put himself in position to go to the league. He delivered his senior year. He got a lot of attention from scouts after his senior year.

College career
As a senior at Memphis, Maulet played in all 13 games and recorded 73 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, 15 passes defended and two forced fumbles.

Not bad stats for one year in College ...............
