I just don’t see this team as being anything more than Sweet 16 level; unless the brackets blow up like they did last year for FAU.

But it SHOULD be a Sweet 16 team. This team is capable of that.

Not playing the way they played Thurs night. They were just standing around on offense in the second half. No one was moving without the ball. They just didn't seem to know how to play against a zone. Late in the game they quit driving to the basket which could have resulted in trips to the FT line and stopped the clock. The level of competition is going to be much tougher in the big dance.
They have time to work out the bugs but learning to play as team again is a must to go to the sweet 16. David had no assists. USF had 5 more assists than the Tigers. The last couple or three games our big men seem to want to dribble the ball in the mid court. That's what they have guards for. Just little things like that. The last out of bounds play was embarrassing when no one covered Pryor until it was too late and had to foul. His free throw won the game for USF.

And keep Malcolm from dribbling down the court in the open floor. It usually ends up in a turnover. Malcolm is a force inside but has a tendency to take a dribble before going up. When he brings the ball down more often than not it's a t.o.
