NFL playoffs
On CBS NFL Today, Bill Cowher predicts five Chris Boswell FGs will give the Steelers a 15-13 win today in snowbound Buffalo.
(The other three commentators think the Bills will win.)

RE: NFL playoffs
I’d go with the other three picks. Buffalo now up 21-0. I don’t think Boswell will figure much in the outcome at this point.
It was nice seeing Jack Fox punting to Austin Trammell in last night’s game. Fox with a couple of booming punts pinning LA deep were huge for a Detroit win.

RE: NFL playoffs
Stupid decision by Buffalo coach going for a 49-yard FG in this weather. Up 21-0 with just over 2 minutes to go in first half, why risk giving Pitt a short field prior to half? Of course, it gets blocked and Pitt takes over at the Buffalo 33 instead of their own 35 had he simply missed the FG. The much smarter move would have been to simply go for it on 4th & 7 from Pitt's 31 yard line. No biggy if they failed to pick up the first down. Pitt takes advantage of the gift and with the momentum, goes on the score a TD before half.

Indeed. I was about to write an obituary for Cowher's pick ... until the FG block at 2:22 and Steelers' score.
Until then, the Steelers were listless & sloppy. They had 4 punts, and the only time they'd gotten into FG range, Rudolph threw a pick in the end zone. The Bills, on the other hand, were fast, precise & productive .. and Allen was fabulous.
Will the 2nd half bring any surprises?

RE: NFL playoffs
Boswell gets his 1st FG of the game, a 40 yarder, and is now 17 for 17 in the post season.

40-yard FG for Boz at 8:50 in 3Q.
"Boswell has never missed in his post-season career."

Steelers making a game of it. 24-17 Bills with about 10 1/2 minutes to play.
