Sign of the times….Georgia State’s head coach steps down to become…the tight ends coach at South Carolina…

Georgia State has postponed spring practice and its spring game because head coach Shawn Elliott resigned to become the tight ends coach at South Carolina two days into spring practices at GSU.

Never seen anything like this before.

Shameful on the part of the Georgia St coach that now the university has to postpone spring practice and spring game. It's also shameful on the part of The Gamecocks to do this as they were courting GSU coach probably for some time, even though he was under contract. Universities, don't know in this case, should not include any buyout clause when hiring.
