I would say that we had very few insufferable fans during our latest 9 years of excellence. I was proud of that. I know this doesn't jive with what a lot of people here believe, but I like to let our play on the field talk instead of trash talking. I never have been a fan of it. IMO being insufferable is annoying to everyone, even some of your fellow fans.

I'm just a nobody dad bod who likes beer, raising my kids and sports. I don't take shots at people. I guess the only thing would be the threads. I do like to start genuinely good conversations, and if it's something I find passionate about, I do like to put my honest perspective, but never try to get personal or hateful.

Actually, since GSU has been in the Belt, I'd say stAte and Troy are really the only two schools that check off both boxes of:
- Had a successful run (especially on the gridiron)
- Didn't end up with a handful of fans who actively chose to be tools on the interweb

The rest of us are lacking in one, the other, or both.

To be honest we probably have fans more annoying to our own fans. Plus one non-fan we have been blessed with.

If JUM fans didn't make the elite insufferable list sumn ain't right.

Mostly the flyby fans chest thumping and the one or two little mans taking advantage of the keyboard when the wife works overtime.

If every ODU sport was as successful as they ought to be, damn right we'd be insufferable. Right now we're just suffering.

I don't mind people talking about their accomplishments. Or chest beating as others put it. It only gets insufferable when they start to demean all the other programs or say they are too good for the conference. Seems more people find the insults to other schools more tolerable and the chest beating about their own achievements the most insufferable though.

I wouldn’t say insufferable, but we do have a bunch who really enjoy sharing the thoughts that resulted from their 2 brain cells rubbing together.

I’ve never seen a HC dismiss his undergrad alma mater (WHERE HE EVEN PLAYED) like Withers did for his home coming game playing App. What a very odd man. I get it if he was playing his alma mater Delta St or something but not a quality program with storied history. Just very bizarre behavior by him to the point that he wanted to pretend he never even went to App.

At least Kinne acknowledged the matchup against Baylor where his brother was still on the roster and his dad coached.
