OT: Volunteer opportunities with Rice Engineering for Spring 2024
The Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL) offers a wealth of opportunities (virtual and in-person) for alumni and others in a range of professions to share their expertise with Rice Engineering students -- from being a guest observer ("Engineer in the Room") in one of the leadership labs, to networking workshops, serving as an industry mentor, or nominating a panelist for our annual discussion on engineering ethics.

As many of you know, each of these is a compact but rewarding opportunity to share your insight and experience with some of Rice's best and most ambitious students.

I invite you to check out these opportunities and reserve a spot for Spring 2024 at this link:
https://tinyurl.com/volunteer-with-RCEL

Because the RCEL program is not tied to a specific technology, volunteers do not need to be practicing engineers to take part. Rather, the prerequisites are leadership or project management experience and a genuine interest in working with Rice students.

Thanks and GO OWLS!

UPDATE:
- We are now all set for January 17 -- thank you!
- We welcome additional volunteers for January 24, or for the other opportunities (in-person and virtual) listed in the Volunteer Portal:
https://tinyurl.com/volunteer-with-RCEL

I've never met anyone who did one of these and did not enjoy it.
