Consensus was a 1-3-1 zone or extended 2-3 would halt this and make someone else beat us, the inability of Miller to make in game adjustments was at the forefront. Also the previously mentioned free throw shooting and why Miller has best free throw shooter taking ball out at end of game when everybody knew they had to foul, no adjustment made......04-cheers

Just say no to zone defense. This team gets murdered in zone. They needed to double to get the ball out of Disu's hands.

But nullifying Disu wasn't going to happen on the defensive end. it really needed to happen on the offensive end. He's good but he wouldn't have gotten LeBron level protection, and could have fouled out. We really needed to get Vik matched on him so that we could get an easy bucket or have Disu pick up fouls and go to the bench.

i'll say this over and over again. Coach Miller needs to train his players to hunt mismatches on offense. We've got the skill and physical talent. We figure that out and we'll get way more buckets.

I think you have to be happy with Newman at the line, ideally you want Simas there, but the other team knows that and he doesn't have great quickness to get free. The second best option is either Day Day or Newman.

Sure would have been great if the refs had called the obvious travel. If it's a travel in the first 39 minutes, it's a travel in the last minute.

Overall I was happy with last night and thought we were the better team and should have won. Missed FT's and the refs cost us the game.

not making mistakes can mask missed shots
