The replay had Nan clearly behind the arc but they are not giving her a trey. Strange.

70-52 final, but it sure was a lot closer than that.

Garcia, Goss and Rinat 6 points each. Rinat added 5 boards, 6 assists and 3 blocks. Garcia also 3 blocks.
Barnes didn't score but had 5 rebounds and a steal.

Wonderful to see Sophia take over passing and SCORING! Hit huge threes down the stretch. At least half a dozen blocks by UT and out rebound Miami in the second half.

You got me looking and I did see her rubbing her back in the post game team gathering. Hoping she can get it totally treated over the next few days. She was HUGE tonight.

This team is perfecting the skill of winning ugly! Played even with the weakest team in the league for three quarters. UT shot 31 3's and made 12. That and the play of Wiard and Noveroske were keys to the game.

The fourth quarter press was well timed and executed. Credit to Coach Cullop.

Rockets had nine blocks, listening to post game interview. Remarkable. Still no word on Jess Cook.

EMU, by far the worst team coming in, blew out NIU 67-49 on the road
Ohio beat Akron at home.
Kent beat Buffalo on the road.
Ball State took care of WMU handily by 22. BSU 2 technicals in the game

CMU and BG are going down to the wire.

BG beats CMU by 1 on the road.

Was tied, and CMU had a chance to take the last shot, but turned over the inbounds and fouled on top of it. BG made 1 FT, and CMU still had a chance to win, but missed a good shot with a couple seconds left.

We did what we needed to not drop much in the NET. This league will have teams who give us fits, but the leadership beyond just Q. Sophia and Hannah played their best games to date. Rinat has some work to do but she hustles. This team plays for each other. They may just have to win ugly.
