Well, you know, the golf standings don’t predict anything, they just adjust the standings DURING the season to account for any imbalance in the number of home/away games teams have played. At the end of the season, it will always be EXACTLY the same as the actual standings, since all teams then will have played equal numbers of home/away games. That was the design.
I should know. I created it many years ago with a friend on the Miami board who took the idea and kept it going for a few years. It has lived variously here and on the OU board since.

I have yet to receive any royalties!

And it will continue to live on….forever and a day!

One of my favorite parts of visiting that board was the dude whose avatar was of a kid getting chased by a rooster. All of the posters were fluent in sarcasm, which was also fabulous.

Even though I can't give you any royalties, I do remember first seeing this golf standing "thing" on the MAC board way back when. I believe your friend's name was/is mollautt, correct? My apologies if I didn't spell his name correctly. Nice job creating this; kudos to you and him!
