To The Board:

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2024! I hope and pray y'all have a wonderful evening appreciating your loved ones and reflecting on your blessings. That's what really matters. Not this Bearcat Banter stuff. I lost my wife nearly two years ago to cancer. Lost my Mom to cancer four months ago. Please. Please. Appreciate your family while you have 'em. Sit back, and give thanks that you live in the United States of America. We're not perfect. Far from it. But it's still the best place to live in the world. I appreciate all of you. I know I've lost my mind on here a few times since I started posting in 2013. I've had a few dustups with some of you too over the years. All that's in the trash can. Flush it down. Forgive me. I'm thankful to be a graduate and fan of the University of Cincinnati. I'm thankful to have posted along with many of you for a long time now. Be happy and be safe tonight! GO BEARCATS!!!

In my lifetime, this is the greatest game I ever watched our Bearcats play in. I stayed up until 2 AM or whenever it was when it ended. I still have it recorded on VHS tape LOL...

To UCGrad1992, thanks for sharing your personal journey and Godspeed in 2024. Best wishes to our entire Bearcat family here on BB too. I think the hallmark of this board is that we (mostly) agree to disagree agreeably. My New Year's wish is that our elected leaders could do more of that.

Big 12 basketball will be challenging to say the least. But it's great to be counted among the power conference members and I'm very thankful for the great work of so many this past decade to build an amazing infrastructure for athletics, reach the CFP, and provide some best in class academic support for our student athletes. There were days when UC was parked in the AAC that I wondered if we'd ever escape the G5. It's been an incredible journey and the best is yet to come.
