How will our WMU Broncos compete in the MAC ?

Going to be a long season folks.

Not QUITE there yet, since the teams we've beat were all middle of the pack last year and may likely have regressed, but I am happy with what i've seen so far. Feels like we could see 7-8 MAC wins now instead of 3-4 like I was expecting.

Yeah, I wish I could change my vote. Not saying we will be contenders, but the more I see us playing better and the more I see of other MAC teams, it is possible that we could win more than I thought. Watched last half of CMU - EMU and now see why they finished below us in the preseason poll. The conference looks weak. Our team is gaining confidence against some lower half teams.

Hard to say how this may play out but the future doesn't seem as dismal now as it had appeared just six weeks ago.

Less then half but we'll hit 10 wins overall, which is probably our cieling.

Gotta think 1 each vs the other Michigan's, an upset one, plus another 'bad' team & that'll be 10. That'd be 8 MAC wins, about middle of the pack.

If we continue playing like we have been lately we should expect around 11-7 overall in the MAC (Going 6-5 over the last 11 games). We could certainly nab a few games here and there. I think that will get us into the MAC tournament. Top 8 teams qualify these days.
