DII Hillsdale is below .500 and already lost to Saginaw Valley State, the team EMU just beat handily. Hopefully this will be a chance for the freshmen to get some decent playing time.

Hillsdale offers little resistance on D. On the other end UT's D has not been very good, giving up wide open threes, and Hillsdale is hitting them. Dykstra and Weaver have both seen time already.

In other news, Michigan just beat #17 Ohio State, 69-60.

The Chargers 5-10 from three, which was unexpected as they are not a good shooting team.

Need to play the frosh more in the second half. I expected Weaver to get more minutes and would like to have a better look at Fagan.

Was not a good quarter. Defense has not been good. Sammi is still struggling, although she has 11 rebounds. Dykstra made a couple nice defensive plays in the press.

Hard to be critical of a team which wins by 40 but I didn't think they played particularly well. Was impressed that Dykstra is starting to look more comfortable and that Barnes was looking excellent offensively and defensively. Barnes should be able to provide some quality minutes when one of the guards needs time off, something has been a problem early in the year.
