Never no, I do not intend to subscribe to their service.

Very nice article. My mom and dad would go to games and then tell us about it when they got home. Also remember watching those bowl games, great stuff.

Never met Christine, but her younger brother worked for me for a short time in public accounting. Also had a few conversations with her dad while auditing his business - Brennan Trucking. Very interesting guy. He was a big cigar smoking guy with an intimidating presence. He also had a side to him that I got to see because we came from a similar background even though we were nearly a generation apart. He was also the head of the Lucas County Republican party, and with Christine being liberal, I would imagine they had some pretty good conversations over the years - but highly doubtful he would have tried to impose his beliefs and stances on her. He was not that type of guy. But he was a guy you did not want to cross. Saw that with a colleague of mine who was a few years older and a tax advisor. That did not go well. Very uncomfortable situation to be in and surprised we kept them as a client after that.

RE: The star quarterback that never lost.
Saw they listed all the players with a higher winning percentage than JJ McCarthy in the Rose Bowl game last night. McCarthy is 26-1. They showed Ealey at 35-0 (along with a QB from Oklahoma that was something like 25-0) for a winning percentage of 100%. Those two were referred to as being from the "black and white" era - while showing each in black and white pictures - as if color photos hadn't been invented yet. At least it got Ealey and the Rockets some exposure on TV for a national audience. Always helps. Along with the list of recent former UT players that spent time in the NFL. Right now, Toledo is tied with Central Michigan for most players from the MAC in the NFL with 8. BG has 3 and Marshall, the team that wanted to ditch the MAC to go "big time" - has 2.

I think if you looked at the last 10 years, Toledo would be well ahead of any other MAC team. Always good to have that list at the ready - for recruiting at HS's and for transfers.
