The only team that progressively got better all season was App. JMU and Troy remained consistent most of the season. Everyone else got progressively worse, with some losing the last 5 games on their schedule or close to it. Some overachieved within that confine, still.

But all of that equates to bad bowling when added to lost coaches and star players. Thing is, all the teams that made a bowl have personnel losses. A successful season means they think they are good enough to move up, whatever their definition of up is. I don't feel we were hit particularly harder than anyone else, but the sheer number of teams that barely got eligible or got eligible early and never won another game is staggering. That coupled with the portal and carousel is making us look like chumps in almost every game. I still contend it doesn't mean anything, but it is undoing any goodwill and perception we've garnered up to this point.

We're moving from the most bowl teams to the most teams with a losing record in a hurry.

Yeah. This sucks. The SBC has a great year overall and this is really ugly way to cap the year. We might only come out bowl season with one win.

Would you rather winning OOC in the regular season or bowl season? The answer is clear.

What a disgraceful performance by our bowl teams there is no reason to sugar coat it, we were awful.

The Sun Belt should get a P10 patch stitched to our jerseys next year and ride the short bus to our OOC games.

Looks like GSU is gonna get a win. Way to punch up!

Have stated many times that the regular season means everything and the bowls mean nothing. But OOC was months ago and this is the memory we're leaving for this year.

These bowl game are complete crapshoot.

Between coaching changes, portal, guys opting out, 3 weeks off, travel.

These are made for tv exhibition games. You never know what you are going to get in each one.

It has been and always be complete randomness in bowl games and is no reflection on the seasons the full teams had at all.

Next year, please refrain from proclaiming this conference as the best G5. We ain’t.

All of the major computer models had us as the best G5. It wasn't a personal opinion or anything. Even after the bad bowl season the models still have us as the best. It's what happens when you win more out of conference games than the other G5's.

People should refrain from going to other boards strutting around though.
