I tend to follow teams the Cougars have played, just to see how they are doing.

The team that has surprised me is CSUN. Northridge was not a very good team last season. I was surprised CSU didn’t beat them in Chicago and felt the 9 point loss was a let down.

But all of a sudden CSUN is 8-3 and just defeated UCLA in Pauley. They seem to have turned a corner.

Bowling Green is also 8-3. With a brand new coach, I didn’t have much to base a prediction on them with them. I didn’t know if it was “hit the ground running” situation, or a total rebuild.

But in the scores tonight, I noticed CSUN and BGSU both won. And so did Stetson, Mercer, SIU, Southern Indiana, and Loyola Chicago.

Good NET builder when everyone wins. Valpo was the only CSU opponent who didn’t win that played on Tuesday.
