I watched Coach Parker's first presser. He was humble yet energetic. He understands what the expectations are at Troy and he believes he can deliver. I was pleased with what I saw: a young coach with a hunger to win.

I'll be honest and say that I was very skeptical of Gerad Parker, but after reading more about him, especially his interactions with the Troy players and listening to his press conference, he's slowly winning me over.
