Those weeks 1-4 games are likely to feature 1-2 MWC teams anyhow. Would UO and UW schedule two G5s without including a MWC team? I also think they are less likely to schedule SEC or ACC teams on the road, sans a top notch Chick-fil-A kickoff match. It’s important to keep that series going.

With the deals now between Oregon/OSU and Washington/WSU, I suspect that we're getting closer to a resolution to the 2Pac/Pac 12 saga. Probably nobody is happy, but there's a lot to lose for politicians in both Washington and Oregon if they don't treat this situation appropriately.
