Locked On Big 12 have been calling for the four corner schools to join the Big 12 for a while. Drake works for ESPN's Texas regional. A lot of these Locked On these channels are more ESPN based.
Very few people are floating the rumor.
It’s FSU Rivals and the Locked On Network.
Believe me, I’m Pro-Chaos. I just don’t think there is enough smoke here to consider it credible yet. I need a Dennis Dodd, a Brett McMurphy, a Nicole Auerbach, someone typically connected to realignment news.

I can say the exact same thing as the rumors of the 4 corner schools to the Big 12 is a fantasy as well even from Kurtz, 360 and so forth then. Maybe tomorrow we would wake up from the nightmare that nobody left their conferences, and staying where they are at.
Big 10 don't want to go past 20. SEC is not interested in in add anymore schools. The Big 12 could be the landing spot for the ACC. Clemson, Miami, Virginia and Pittsburgh could go to the Big 12.
Any rumors directing major programs from the ACC to the Big 12 are verifiably false. At the very worst, those schools would be using the threat of departure for any conference as leverage in discussions with the ACC.
FSU/Clemson/UNC/Virginia are all major players in the ACC and in B1G/SEC talk. A move to the Big 12 makes no sense for any of those programs. If Texas/OU were still in the Big 12, maybe there could be an argument for movement. But that isn't the case and won't ever be.
I want to dance on the ACC's grave as much or more than anybody, but I agree with this. A lateral move to the Big XII makes no sense for a top ACC program like Clemson at this point. I wish Clemson & FSU had made this move ten years ago, but it would never be worth considering now unless and until the P2 door is forever slammed shut to them.

The what-ifs of ACC schools leaving for the XII.
XII (10) + Clemson, Florida St, Louisville, Miami
ACC (10/11) + Central Florida, Cincinnati, Houston, South Florida

I don't think there is an appetite at both Big 10 or SEC to add anymore schools right now. Both of them have to wait years down the road for a raise in media rights to even add anymore. ESPN might raise the Big 12 payout if they add some ACC schools and move some G5 schools into their place there to pay less, but if those two conferences don't want to add anymore and Clemson and those schools find a way out? They would become homeless like Chicago State. There is no place for them to go if they find a way out of the GORs.

LOL. I haven't seen those at the grocery stores for quite a while. I think my favorite (that I remember offhand) was about Hillary Clinton going out into her back yard to hang laundry and an alien landed and impregnated her. Apparently, you can make this stuff up.
Btw, esayem, is this from the Onion?

Well, it's almost Christmas and there's enough crap here to stuff everyone's Goose!
Sankey's actual comment was, "We are happy at 16, but if things happen, we'll be nimble." That's not the equivalent of we are not expanding. Rather, it is the same oblique maybe that he stated in 2021 prior to the Texas and Oklahoma announcement. "We are happy at 16, and would only consider expansion if crown jewels dropped in our lap. (which was essentially a Slive quote)" Texas and Oklahoma meet crown Jewels. Lap meet the SEC.
And yeah, I absolutely go to an unknown BYU dude to get my SEC information, LOL! P.T. Barnum is right again! There is one born every minute.

There was always a path for the 4c to the big 12, however unlikely. The only path Clemson is taking to the Big 12 is if they play at Baylor in the CFP next year.

Don't stop thinkin' about tomorrow, David. Don't stop. It'll soon be here.

Clemson would much rather be in SEC. They arent settling for another conference just yet.

Those beachmen are no joke. They're supposedly people fused with dinosaur DNA.
Apparently, they're pretty conmon, given that the town was yawning about their mention. In other news, my son and I get confused whenever we see the question " Are you a robot?"
Well, hmmm, my son and I can talk like we are robots, but are we robots?? Hmmm.
