I just wonder what kind of shape Brown is in. Not playing competitive basketball in months I just can't believe there's not going to be a bunch of rust there. His timing is going to be off and running up and down the court will be a challenge, UNLESS he has been running while he's been off and kept his breathing in shape. Am I making any sense?

Lmao ok

Go watch the tape of the last game. He’s laughing at everyone and won’t give the ball up to JQ.

Last year he’s shoving KD in the crucial game

Year before an assistant coach is calling him out on the airwaves

Even Wolo who is the best homer on the planet has mentioned numerous times that he’s been insubordinate with multiple assistant coaches

But hey believe what you want lol smh

As for Brown no coach or anyone close has said that he quit

You're REALLY living in denial.

The team cannot vote to let him come back unless he was no longer a part of the team.

You must leave before you can come back.

You actually believe all that too? Penny ain’t allowing any votes. If he did his sons would never see the court

So because he allows a vote on a player coming back that means he must allow votes for all aspects of the program?

To quote Penny. That's been (in the works) for a couple weeks. ... We knew we needed Jordan and that when he was ready, he would come back. ... He's ready now."

I doubt there was a vote

If his remarks are true, then why not say so from the beginning???
Good grief.

RE: Jordan Brown is BACK.
Well the Tigers have all week long to get Brown lots of practice time. Penny will know if he's in shape enough to play more than a 2 minute stretch. If not he won't be much help. The hour glass is filling up fast on this season. He doesn't have time to go from 10% to 100% if he hasn't been working out in his hiatus.

RE: Jordan Brown is BACK.
I like what Brown potentially gives us. With Malcolm, Jourdain, Tomlin, and Brown we should have 2 bigs in at all times. We should be fresher inside and less vulnerable to foul trouble. And, maybe more important, it only leaves 3 spots on the floor at all times that need to be manned. Quinerly, DJ, Walton, and Young should get most of those minutes, with Jayden playing spot minutes if needed. That's an 8-9 man rotation with solid depth at every position.

To way oversimplify, is Brown being allowed back a part of the disfunction of the team and the quality of play over the last two games?

Last 2 games? Quality of play has been pretty inconsistent in conference play.

Since the Vandy game.

I could also see it as Brown being allowed to come back because of the disfunction of the team. If the team were clicking and rolling it would not be worth the risk.
