Is that not a historic rivalry for Marshall? If I were a MU fan I’d certainly take Myrtle Beach vs Ohio over Potato Bowl vs Utah State

Yeah I can't speak for the fan base but it's a solid matchup in a solid location what else could you hope for as a 6-6 team?

I wanted this bowl game. Don’t want stupid Ohio in a bowl game. Give me a team we’ve never played. Hope we didn’t cry to get out of it because everyone assumed this is where we were going
