Because the schedule next year was very easy, we could of competed for the MAC West title. I am sure Coach Taylor doesn't like it either he won't get any bonuses now that divisions are gone.

How very short sighted you are.

I'd much rather see the two best teams in the MACC, not one good one and a team that won a weak division.

That's a big change, and one that many conferences have been making. It does feel like a good thing overall, getting the two best teams to Ford Field, because there have been some MAC championship games involving a team that had no business being there.

We don't know our schedule next year. Hoepfully we get the Buffalo / Akron / Kent pod

This might mean no more end of season trips to NIU. So that's nice.

Getting a draw of weak teams is even more important without divisions

MAC would've been the only conference with divisions otherwise.

I don't have much of an opinion on it. It'll be weird not playing NIU, Toledo and BSU every year.

I like this a lot. Makes the MAC Championship a more high stakes game, protects rivalries, and avoids schedules across multiple years from getting too insular with a 3 year rotation of opponents outside your pod.

I just heard about the change this afternoon. I'll have to think about it but my initial thought is that I'm in favor of it.

Big ten has two divisions, East and West.

With USC, ucla and them joining next year, my guess is they’ll follow suit.

Specifically this year, you can’t tell me Iowa is the second best team in the big ten….

Never been a fan of divisions within leagues-conferences.
