It should be a decent game with #2 Troy vs #3 App State. A nice runner up “champion” can hang an asterisk banner for being the 2nd best team in the Sun Belt and live with the taint for eternity.

I get the joke, but there will be no "taint" should App win. There is no taint regardless considering you weren't eligible for anything to begin with.

Next year, grasshopper. Next year. Teams now know they actually have to contend with you so they may put some more time in the off-season on JMU scouting.
