I had a bad feeling when this thing was announced and UAB was partnering with a private company
The bondholders are going to want to salvage something, maybe UAB can pick this up at a fire sale and operate it by themselves and not have a leech trying to make a profit off it

That may have been UAB's fall back plan from the beginning. The unit is only 3 years old and it's an active area of research

Yeah, given what it took to get it in the building, how much it cost, and how new it is I doubt it will be idle for long, regardless of who ends up with it
