Remember when
Remember when a handful of JMU fans watched football on Thanksgiving weekend for the purpose of finding out the winner of the Patriot League vs Big South first round game (so we could find out who we would play in the 2nd round)?

Now tens of thousands are watching JMU every week. Some weeks it's hundreds of thousands, or millions when ESPN is broadcasting from campus.

We've come a long way in just a couple years. 04-cheers

It was. I was at a bar (granted it was the site of the Duke club party on Friday) around 8pm last night with my bowl-eligible bingo card and every now and then a JMU fan would ask how it was coming.

I haven't been this amped up about planning a road trip since the first Frisco trip in 2016. Getting to FBS and finally being able to cut loose from the anchor that FCS was becoming has been nothing short of incredible for JMU Football.

Ugh.. I really hope we don’t end up in that.

It's just the perfect "you're not really in FBS" denouement.
