Outside of the food, which is NOT good, there are a lot of ways that Arkansas is WAY better than Louisiana. As for the stench, there is very little of that unless it's the chicken houses...which we had in Louisiana as well.

I actually really enjoyed Fayetteville when I had some work up there.

Yeah, I have family in that area. Really nice. We used to ride the rapids on the big piney every Easter.

I would just starve there. Eats not very good way up there.

They cook the food just fine but their idea of seasoning leaves a lot to be desired. I just end up cooking for myself at home rather than eating out. Several of my friends up here keep telling me to open a restaurant. LOL

I used to work for a large publicly traded corporation that had locations all over the US, but was HQ'd in Lafayette. We had a lady from an Arkansas location come down to Lafayette for a week and after striking up a conversation with her, she said she was excited to find out that her hotel had a river-front view leading up to the trip. Once she got there, she was upset to find out that it was more of a muddy ditch (Vermilion River). Made me laugh.
