Really?

"You worked hard but it just didn't happen..."

I call BS. This isn't a team that looks like they "worked hard." They have been undisciplined ALL YEAR LONG. I can root for a "hard knocks" squad. We used to do that...2* kids who are over-matched against 4* kids, but darn they "worked hard" and over-achieved.

This...this is different.

I now live 500 miles away but if I didn't, I'd hate to be looking at renewals for this dreck. Less for the $$ than the time.

It's a boring poorly coached team with a cruddy roster.

Yup.

i think we're going to have to. i imagine some are going to be jumping ship, others will be informed of their reduced role going forward, and attrition due to graduation and testing the draft waters (just adding that as a potential option but not necessarily a real one). i imagine that everyone with options will be taking a hard look, outside of those who followed Coach Satterfield and Co. to Cincy.

To be fair, they have had nothing to play for over the last 3 weeks. It still is a terrible indictment of both these players and the coaches that they aren't self motivated enough to continue to fight for the sake of their own pride.

This defense has straight up given up over these last two weeks.

Mercifully, there's an end to this abomination in site. It can't come soon enough.

Going for it on 4th down up 30 with 40 seconds left is definitely going to stick around for a couple of years.

RE: Kansas Game thread
This team's emblematic play was that Deshawn Pace interception, where he picked off the ball and then started trying to run it back, holding the ball away from his body...which was then hacked out and recovered by the other team...for a net gain of yardage by the other squad.

That sums up the entire season for me. Even when we do something good, we are so damn stupid it still ends up biting us in the ass. And it's almost all self-inflicted.

Seriously. Even Tommy's last team wasn't this unbearably bad.

03-puke

Well - I went. At least I had some fun seeing friends.

Funny part - I went to the restroom after UC scored to make it 14-10. While standing in line the guy in front of me said Kansas had just scored.

This awful season is over.

Can't wait to see what happens in the off-season.

UC pretty much needs everything - coaching and players. Satterfield needs to look in the mirror as well. He overthinks things a lot and makes some real head scratching calls.

21 seconds in the second quarter is the microcosm for me for the entire season. Close the gap to 4, a poor special teams play followed up by poor back 7 play leading to a deeper hole due to stupidity and poor coaching. We know the common denominator.
