RE: “Dilfer Dimes” bowl
he got his job by default .it was set up ,by bill clark ,,,,,UAB had no other option to hire him and UAB HAD AN easy schedule and make it sure for a long contract ,,,he did like ray watt , he mess up
I want the guy to do well like any human being but I stop my support by my presence only because it was obvious he cannot do the job ,,I will be the same thing with dilfer on season 3 if UAB dont get better

Without a doubt. The number of people that want Vincent back blow my mind.

He’s a great guy, and I wish him the best wherever he goes. He did very well at New Mexico this past year. However, he got his shot here & didn’t live up to expectations. At this point, I’m as concerned as I was with the initial announcement, that Dilfer wasn’t an upgrade. I get it that it was a huge learning curve with a tougher schedule & younger players. This time next year, we’ll have a better grasp of what to expect going forward.

Same feelings about both. The Dilfer hire was a huge, unnecessary risk in my mind, but it’s the route we went so I will support him.

Not surprised. He didn’t shine as much as I’d hoped this year, in a year where we had a bunch of guys catching the ball. Also, he was seen getting into it with UAB fans on the sidelines at Navy.

What happened? Like seriously were some of our fans mouthing Dilfer or the staff and the kid got upset? Or did he just start bad mouthing fans for no good reason?

Not sure. I heard about it from a former player (that didn’t play under Clark).

I don't blame him at all for that, but I do think there needs to be some pretty invasive questioning into process, plan, etc. MI needs to deal with this as if his career is on the line too. Of course, his boss received a No Confidence vote...

Except he just got a contract extension.
