Wildcats have two wins and will play in the finals Monday. Today they beat Fordham 59-45, showing the team has finally gotten into the defensive game coach Tanner likes so much.

Championship game set with Missouri State tomorrow night. It was a pretty back and forth battle all 2nd half, but Kent State never could get the actual lead. ACU will need another game like we played against Fordham.

GREAT FORMULA if you can pull it off! Good luck against Missouri St in the final. Hope you fare better than we did last year against Drake in the PJ Final. 2 years in a row it is WAC vs MVC in the PJ Final! Get em Cats! Use those claws!

Yes indeed, Tarleton State University was noted by the announcers for last year's final. The WAC was mentioned as a good conference for basketball.

I'll say it here, but the way the "Mizz St" fans are going on about us, and the WAC, being nobodies on their message board is hilarious. I know this is going to be a tough battle but would love to see the Bears get their clock's cleaned just because they are that narcissistic.

SFA kicked the snot out of Drake and they were dubbed the preseason favorite in the MVC. Top to bottom the 2 leagues are probably about equal. Mizz St is middle of the pack I do not know why they are so arrogant.

Cats came out firing on all cylinders but MSU adjusted and ACU has not been playing aggressive, aggravating, defense. We have been turning the ball over and not rebounding. Meanwhile, MSU has been shooting well all over, and off the bench. MSU now has a halftime lead of 45-37 after we were up by over 10 points.

**I'll add that helping the Bears get to the FT line in bunches hasn't helped.**

Not your fault. We were up 10 at one point and then went ice cold. Missouri State deserved the title, no question. They were as tough as NC State. ACU had foul trouble and could not keep the players on the floor that could at least play with the Bears.
