Nice press break to end the half

They’re faster than us. Quicker on passes, cuts, loose balls, steals. Maybe it’s bc we came out asleep and haven’t fully woken up yet. But they look faster than us. And they were ready for our zone trap. They’ve easily passed out of it all half.

We have a lot of work to do before next week.

Changed our mind about traveling to Murfreesboro

We will see how 2nd half plays out but the team I’m watching in Alcorn State shouldn’t have been annihilated the way they were in their 2 losses. I’m not here to say we are playing well. But they are hitting shots and very athletic. Something isn’t adding up. But we will see what happens in the 2nd half. We are of course not playing up to our ability but Alcorn is not bad (like their prior games would suggest).

Clearly need to get Vasquez more touches

Gaines was awful.

He looked like he couldn’t even dribble normally, let alone shake people; run the offense, do his normal shenanigans.

Hopefully he wakes up at half bc he had played well to this point.

Vasquez is good.

That makes the Clemson loss even more of a travesty bc that dude could draw a foul on 75% of his drives to the basket and we were in the bonus in that game for an eternity.

But no someone else come out and defend playing shaver for 10+ minutes down the stretch.

1 pt deficit at the half -- no problem.

It will be interesting to see the adjustments CAK makes at the half.

Their guards are handling our defensive pressure.
