Bill Belichick also might be available after the NFL season. He can run the D. Former Saban GA Josh McDaniels is also looking for work. He can run the O.

Better a demigod in Alabama than at the mercy of all those A&M boosters in Texas. Sure A&M could throw a Brinks truck at him, but do you really think 72 year old Nick Saban lacks for money and wants to deal with starting over in a demanding, high hassle job like A&M?

You don't think that Alabama is also demanding and high hassle? Or LSU before that? Or the Dolphins? Or FSU for that matter? Every big time program, college or pro, is a "demanding, high hassle job". Win and you're a God, lose and you're a Bum. Do a bit of both for too long and you get the axe anyway.

Saban could have gone to Texas a few years ago and passed, he wants to finish at Alabama. I say let him, he only has a few good years left in him anyway.

Just for his first week on the job when he tells boosters: "Georgia bought every player on their team."

Yeah, but there isn't a single person associated with the Alabama program questioning a single thing Nick does. There wouldn't be MUCH questioning of Nick at a new program, but a little more than he currently has. Why bother?

Jimbo didn't win 6 titles in his first 14 years at the school. That tends to give the HC a tiny bit of leeway.
