You can fire Holgersen and he probably deserves it but they'll be somewhat in the same situation as we were when we hired Coach Satterfield. i know they have at least one set of really deep pockets but it'll be an expensive buy out and i see Houston with even less appeal than us when we posted our opening.
The deep pockets are friends with Holgorson and now owns the Houston Rockets and plans to build a 45 story resort on the Vegas strip...I don't think he's going to be sending a lot more cash to UH.

I agree but i felt They were trying to get Cory another touchdown.
I wouldn’t want to risk injuring a player just to hit some stat, but that’s just me.
I went to the game. Did anyone else realize this was Houston's Homecoming game? Wild.
Everyone was super nice but we bought lower bowl tickets for 10 bucks and could sit anywhere we wanted. Maybe twice as many people were outside in this massive fraternity tent maze blasting music and getting smashed. Quite the site.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I am very thankful for our fan base that attends games. Also for our students that fill out and stay for games. It is really really important and I hope we can start winning so we don't lose it. Far too many Ls in Nippert recently.

Well, there's only about 6 million people in metro Houston, so...

Bolded, I didn't realize that, which makes that paltry crowd all the more pathetic. They can thank Kelvin Sampson for Big 12 membership I suppose. Or Texas politics. Or a top ten Houston TV market.
Regardless, I'm very proud of the work the UC leadership, coaches, and all our fans did to contribute to building a rising academic/research university, dynamic facilities, quality football, and a rocking environment at Nippert. I have no doubt that UC was the first phone call when TX and OK defected.
