From a pure coaching standpoint, you make a solid point Dan.

That acknowledged, a college coach has the duty as well as the power to assemble his roster. Creighton gets to as Bill Purcell used to say "cook the meal and select the groceries" as well. Our less than stellar offense this year mostly suffered clearly from the root cause of lack of talent. That problem lands clearly at the foot of the coach.

By the way, I have enjoyed this thread very much. "79, Steve 4840, SD and KPJ, you guys are always fun to read. Thanks.

I pointed out a passive aggressive response and you can disagree but I think you are being intellectually dishonest by dismissing it as "trolling." Not that I give a sh**, quite frankly.

Appreciate that Jerry. Your posts are great to read as well. I agree that CC has the ability to select the offensive groceries for this upcoming season and he better have a big cart. He has lot to replace and given his post-game media speeches, I think he knows he has a lot of work to do.

Random thought.....I usually tailgate 1 home game a season and would love to have a beer with you guys at a tailgate next season. Would anyone else be interested?

I would be.

This could be an EPIC event! Thanks for suggesting it!

Guys I live in Ann Arbor and have season tickets. I've already tailgated with Alum 83 and Alum 91 and hung with Ken Barna during games. You name the game, and I will set it up. This should be a GREAT time!

Oh I forgot the FABULOUS Luckey as well.

I’m in too. If I have enough advance notice I can attend almost any game.

I am too. I post more on basketball than football, but love reading all your football posts… great suggestion!
