31 - 26 Herd with 2:47 left on the clock

Side story: ref got rocked

I was already at the top of the hill outside the stadium by then, I couldn't see who trucked him.

Two weeks in a row GS goes down to a young QB.

Starting to look like GS may not be a threat for a bit.

Congrats on the W.

Announcer was feeling his oats last night.. "They can't take that TD away from us!" hehe

But this loss is on more to do with us than you playing inspired. Almost any other team beats you.

GS has some serious issues and for whatever reason our staff won't address them.
I beg to differ with you, very few teams beat us on this night. We still have some talent on this team and when playing inspired we can be difficult to beat. We gave great field position to what most say is the best quarterback in the league and turned you away. Give credit where it is due.

I wanna say the last one we lost was Snyder's fault?

They need to give this Georgia southern head coach a fat extension, a really big one! More money than Jimbo, for sure

I'll give you credit for a hard fought win, but very few would say that Brin is the best QB in the conference. He throws for a lot of yards, but he also throws a lot of INTs. Our redzone % this year has not been good and it was downright disastrous on Saturday. Play calling inside the 20 was just weird. We tried too many trick plays. We tried to throw to a TE who has one catch all year instead of running White. It was bad. If we don't trade FG's for TD's in the redzone and if our defense realized that Ali was getting the ball 8 times out of every 10 plays and actually learned to tackle, we would have beat you by 10+. You played well, you played inspired. But as the other poster said it was more about what we didn't do than what you did do.

Enjoyed my trip to Huntington and the area. Truly beautiful geography. Interacted with several Marshall fans who were very welcoming and hospitable. A few of those were at the marker and at the stadium. Really disappointed in GS road play. Hats off to Marshall in rallying for the 75.

To our credit, I think the boys take it a bit extra personal on "Memorial Weekend".. Again, yes I had nothing but great interactions with Eagle fans (even had a friend of mine who's a GS grad come with her fam) Come back anytime, but as I told them next time, bring the weather north with ya! :) Glad y'all had a good time, we pride ourselves on being gracious hosts, minus the one or two drunk idiots..

I don’t know, turning down my chili puts us on bad terms!

Glad you enjoyed your trip.

I understand where the Ga Southern fans are coming from, often we Marshall fans have a far less favorable opinion of our team than do the opposing fans. I think you have a good football team but fully understand your frustrations.
