I’m sure it was a business decision.

If he enters the transfer portal, he’ll be a top target.

His dad basically saying he wants to keep his redshirt year and return to NCSU. Guess will see when the portal opens up. Armstrong was brought in to let him redshirt and work with the OC. Basically, become the starter as a sophomore next year,

One thing, he really needs to bulk up. During the games, he seem to get big pop and winced every time. He just look like he could break with a big time hit. Even if he decides to transfer, he needs to beef up. Not a knock against him, just he really needs to just be in the weight room and develop his body. I hope he stays with the Pack. But in the college free agency, I would wish him success wherever he goes.

Who knows? He was a 4*, #28 QB in class of '22. Might have developed a lot over the past year and a half though.

Where did NCSU ‘22 QB transferred to? What’s his name Devin Leary was it? Is he doing ok?

Sounds like NIL needs to add Grant of Rights to its contract.

Beat Clemson and Miami in back to back weeks, if that still means something.

I just think its odd because NC State can still make it to the ACC Championship. Does FSU look so dominant that you're throwing in the towel already? Maybe...

If he's staying at NC State, I would be shocked. I understand the father getting ahead of it and creating the smokescreen. Transfer Portal doesn't open for another month but the news certainly got out there fast. Coaches would probably want it to be a secret just to keep the other team game planning for the wrong guy. I think On3 was the first to report it. So its interesting that the recruiting outlet got the scoop.
