RE: ***Official #15 Oklahoma State at UCF Thread - SPACE GAME***
I can't figure this team out. Particularly the defense. Our defense is almost the worse in the country and we looked like one of the best. Mind numbing game. I was just hoping UCF would keep it close and instead they play like a team playing for a spot in the championship game. So much more enjoyable when we win. We still have a chance to make a bowl game.

I thought I'd congratulate UCF when I saw the final score. That was amazing. Completely unexpected.
First the New 12 teams are being roasted on the realignment board and then UCF comes out and blows out the team that was going to play in the B12 championship game.

Now what? Is it Texas and Oklahoma in the B12CG?
Hey do you have a link to that conversation? I just want to snoop haha
Thanks for the congratulations. If this gets us to bowl eligibility, that's mission accomplished for the season, and this win is a sign that things might be ahead of schedule. Gonna be fun in this conference, I hope you guys are members soon!

Oh, that Marshall monsoon was A WHOLE LOT WORSE in terms of the water. There were streams of water flooding down the steps that day. I've never been to another game when that happened.

Yeah, I recall not being able to see the other side of the stadium from the student section. Just nuts, and the whole game turned into a slugfest with ankle deep water.
It seemed like the team was unphased by the rain (except for one bad snap that I can recall), where it caught OSU flat footed. The timing was incredible

There are several players I could name that had amazing performances, but the one that stood out to me most today was Javon Baker and the two unbelievable sideline catches that I saw him make. Incredible.

My favorite comment is the one about undefeated G5 teams ought to just "set down," or whatever. LOL At the FBS level, it doesn't matter which conference you're in with respect to the physical demands. Your team is going to take a pounding regardless. Sure, some teams have more big guys than others, and more hard-hitting guys than others, but the fact is they all have guys that can deliver some pretty strong blows. If you get hit by a 300-lb guy from a MAC team, explain how that's different from getting hit by a 300-lb guy from an SEC team. BOTH GUYS ARE 300 POUNDS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. You can say one's stronger than the one, one of them ate less Twinkies so he's faster, whatever, but they're BOTH 300 POUNDS. I think it's safe to say they can both hit pretty damn hard. I'm not saying there aren't any differences at all between P5 and G5. Generally speaking, sure, there are SOME teams in P5 that have significantly more depth than pretty much all of the G5 teams. However, to act like G5 is the equivalent of flag football or something so far below P5 is an idiotic perspective. Football is a very rough game no matter which conference your school's team plays in. EVERY FBS TEAM is beaten up at the end of the season. I don't take anyone who thinks that G5 champs somehow had it so easy and didn't have to deal with injury problems or rarely ever got hit hard very seriously. That's the opinion of someone who watches P5 teams play 99.9% of the time and has little to no understanding of G5 conference play.
