There's a dumpster fire that's smoldering on the SBC board.

I never expected Old Dominion to win. That being said, I expected some kind of contest.

The Monarchs had the door slammed on them in the first half and I don't anticipate a comeback of any kind.

How good is Kaidon Salter? He scored on this play.

Was hoping Liberty would be challenged and dinged for our game next week.

Well, we are getting dinged for sure.

Liberty has sustained two troubling injuries at DT and TE.

I can't hate good ball so I won't participate in that thread. Liberty is balling out. Maybe the best of the G5's today. Tulane and JMU not looking like top G5s right now.

Darn, first bad play of the game. Pick in the endzone.

Now that we’ve played a common opponent, I don’t want to hear JMU boast about how they are the best G5 team and Liberty is trash. I don’t want to hear SBC posters brag how the SBC is such a far superior conference than CUSA.

I might agree with the first part. Liberty is VERY good, and JMU did not play like the top G5 team vs ODU. But Liberty is only one team. The SBC has much more depth than CUSA. Not just my opinion.

Whelp. Before I drown my frustrations I figured I should come by and say congratulations.

We looked like dogshit today but even at our best we wouldn’t have won that one. Liberty’s offense has so many looks it’s extremely hard to defend. Good enough defense as well, had very few yards after catch today, there was always a Liberty defender there to wrap up the receiver.

Well said.

Not to mention C-USA basketball is better than anything the Sun Belt has to offer.

I wouldn’t be shocked if UTEP and NMSU alone have more NCAA tournaments than the entire Sun Belt combined. Add WKU and MTSU and it’s not even close.

C-USA 4.0 will be fine and I’m happy the 3.0 mistake is behind us.

SBC does have more depth of average teams.

I'll agree with the first part. Liberty is VERY good, and JMU has not played like the top G5 team lately. But Liberty is only one team. The SBC has much more depth than CUSA. Not just my opinion.

I agree with you which is why I think CUSA is much better positioned going forward. Yes, the Sun Belt has a lot of average teams as reflected in the ratings but CUSA’s size will allow them more flexibility in future realignment shuffles, more tv money divided per team and to be honest, the institutions that played a large role in running the CUSA into the ground now reside in the Belt (thank you). The team ODU put on the field today that beat App State and narrowly lost to JMU, Coastal etc would lose to each of the CUSA teams Liberty played this year. Maybe it was just a bad day for them, not sure.

LU fans speak very highly of Troy fans from when we visited there a couple years ago. Hopefully we can play again sometime.

Except us v CCU, we laid a big egg against a team we should have beaten.

If past is any indication you wont have to wait on SBC posters to say the SBC is better. Several posters on here will tell you the SBC is better. I been negative repped several times and lambasted for stating CUSA is as good or better and Liberty is a lot better than any team in the SBC.

Setting aside the JMU & Belt discussions, I am just glad to see 10-0. What a ride it has been.

Good teams win and yall have a good team. Trenches are strong which separates you from the average teams like us.

Have heard that a lot recently. It's nice to be well represented. Maybe we'll meet in bowl, if not, let's get it back on the schedule. Great win today.

Hope they heal up. Our secondary has been beat up. Every available corner has played. We have a timeout and a guy is chucking on the sidelines and the staff is thing about a safety in his place. He finished, playing sick. They guys play hard and hope we give you a tough game.
