RE: 24 Team MWC Proposal
If this happened, it could be great for CUSA, if we got the AAC leftovers.

Division 1 = East Carolina, USF, FAU, FIU, Jacksonville State, Kennesaw State, Charlotte

Division 2= Liberty, WKU, MTSU, Navy, Temple, La. Tech, UMass or Delaware

MTSU was included in that mystical 24 team league(s)

The whole idea is ridiculous. A non-starter.

Yes and therefore it will probably happen.

Then we would have to take UMass and Delaware. Or EKU.

Division 2= Liberty, WKU, Navy, Temple, La. Tech, Delaware, UMass (or EKU if 1 doesn't go)

Money differences, budgeting impossible with revenue changes each year.

AAC TV contract runs well into the 2030's.

Travel costs.

Getting a media member willing to go along with such an experimental plan.

CFP 2026 Media Deal will "lock" teams into that structure for 6-10 years. P4 will not modify anything to coincide with any G5 relegation plan.

Too many hurdles.

Too many moving parts IMHO.

Consider again in 2033.

Good luck getting a media partner to sign up for this idea with any kind of decent money amount. They don't like risk---especially with a bunch (mostly) G5's.

Without enough $$ from media to support this plan--it will never get off the ground.

As usual--it ALL comes down to the money.
