Monday Musings
Sad Stadium clearing loss on Saturday punctuated with a flag stab on the logo. Not sure why teams think a flag will stick on a turf field but the message has been sent Lance Taylor has the broncos on the stampede as the browncows galloped down 94 with the victory.
The basketball team had a "secret scrimmage with the mastodons which makes sense because Wooly Mammoths have been extinct for 10,000 years, why no in person exhibitions?
Today Maxx Crosby donated a million dollars to the football program. the Program is still strong even though they emus are struggling to meet expectations on the field this year. Finally my last thought how much is a win worth? $10,000, $50,000, $100,000?

The situation with Connor Stalions keeps getting crazier. CMU says they’re investigating if he was on their sideline (decked in CMU gear) during the MSU game earlier this year. As far as I understand, McElwain and two other assistants worked at U-M while Stalions was there.

Does Dylan Drummond have a future with the Lions?

Lions traded for a WR, Donovan Peoples-Jones, from CLE.

100% guarantee that DD is a better route runner and has better hands than Jamo.

Steve, I think a lot will depend on his work ethic. Andrew Wylie was cut THREE times before he stuck with the Chiefs. He just signed a $24M deal with Washington prior to this season.

Dylan reminds me of Tom Kennedy, a guy who might hang around the roster for a few seasons.

Thanks for posting, Steve!

This is what happens when you are the "turd" conference in the G5. Logically, Conference USA should be hosting these weekday games for ESPN in late fall instead of the MAC, because their weather is clearly more favorable. Instead, they do it early and we do it late which in my opinion, is insane.

How can a MAC school justify investing in their football stadiums, when attendance in late fall is so paltry? Yeah, I am whining!

That was approximately an hour before the broadcast. Viewers saw a lightly powdered Field
with an electric 97 yd K/O return for a TD to start the game.

Saw that. Also the snow storm had stopped by game time.

I like this article. I think CFB has become good training grounds for CIA counter terrorism talent.

Learning the fine art of deception and 3 dimensional chess.

TCU mastered the art of deception to foil UofM's sign stealing.

Mega question: will Harbaugh be back next year???

He can try. NFL has said they can uphold any penalties issued by the NCAA. Won't get hired if say the NCAA suspends him for 1-2 years.

Thanks for sharing, Steve.

Joe Burrow is the "poster child" for the transfer portal, had he stayed at OSU, he never would have started an NCAA football game. That is incredible!

Nevertheless, over 18-year-old young men do need to learn that as adults, their choices have consequences. When you choose to work for company A over company B, you may indeed be welcomed by company B a year later. Yet, when you see "greener grass" a year later, in the real world, some may be reluctant to hire you. It is what it is. The portal is NOT training students for their future. You wanna hire Ben Bryant?
