schedule idea for Tennessee as well as Alabama
I know that the Third Saturday in October is a streaky rivalry game, but for Vols like soobakh, why don't the Vols schedule or try to schedule their bye week the week before the 'Bama game, and try crazy stuff to really rattle the Tide?? That's what UGA had to do for the Gators, because in the past, we had no bye week before them at all, and they beat us pretty much all the time. Once we got the bye week the week before Gators, (and really rattled them that first game) we started beating Florida a lot more. Maybe the Vols should look into doing something similar vs 'Bama.

No sense doing this until the newer schedules with OK/Texas come out and 8/9 games is decided. Georgia has already been moving around a lot for TN, and in some ways that has helped even out our schedule. It also, just so happens (wink wink) to possibly create some unofficial "SEC East Championship" matchups. For instance, this year, if Ole Miss beats Georgia and we beat Mizzou, then the TN-Georgia game basically decides the winner of the east, assuming we don't crash and burn at Vandy, which has happened. [I recognize that is a lot of ifs... if we had some same ham, we could have some ham and eggs, if we had some eggs]
