Putin is an idiot. Would not be surprised in the least if one of the oligarch's takes him out for gross incompetence.

Putin isn’t Russia. He’s just the latest flavor of tyrant dictator. Those people like being under the tough guys thumb. They will just roll over and say thank you, may I have another.

When we were in Sankt Petersburg in 2017, we were advised not to speak to Russians. A couple of tour guides were willing to talk a bit, and one thing they all said was thatRussians like strong leaders.
